2 versions of the scapular pull up! Use this as a strength building exercise and also a good activation exercise prior to doing pull ups.
Of course make sure you are warming up well prior to training.
If you are a beginner start with the first version, and if you are a pro, but looking to improve your upper back strength and shoulder stability then move onto the second version.
I personally like to do both, 3 sets of both 12 - 20 reps.
